Description: Students will review grammar and language skills and learn techniques to write using systematic outlining and note taking. Topics include: sentence and paragraph construction, with an emphasis on spelling and using the right word or phrase. Listening exercises, brainstorming, and troubleshooting will involve students in the intuitive and creative process of writing. Students will dissect short stories to illustrate outlining benefits. Students should bring a notebook, pencil, and dictionary/thesaurus to class. A $ 5 material is payable at the door.
